Hergé was inspired by the Willys CJ2A to draw the Objectif Lune Jeep. It was the first civilian-made jeep (intended for agricultural work), its production began on July 17, 1945 and 214,760 units were manufactured between 1945 and 1949. The blue Jeep, scale 1/43, comes from the album "Objectif Lune" which Tournesol is the driver and his passengers: Haddock, Tintin and Snowy.
